Hugh Brady is a clinical professor of law at The University of Texas and is one of the preeminent political law experts in Texas. He served as the 16th president of the North American Vexillological Association-Association nord-américaine de vexillologie from 2008-2014. He won the Captain William Driver Award for best paper in 2015. Professor Brady also serves as editor of The National Standard, the Association’s quarterly bulletin. He is a director and senior fellow of The Flag Research Center, an overseer of The Trust for Vexillology, and a fellow of the Fédération internationale des associations vexillologiques.
